In difficult times, as we are painfully experiencing in 2020, it is more important than ever to create cohesion. Many good approaches that already exist and that the gaming community is moving closer together than we ever thought, would happen. Online games with friends create a substitute for the missing social contacts, game developers / publishers give away their own games for free, in order to give something to the community and conventions take place digitally. How the community was bypassed in 2020, has brought us to focus on game developers who are having a hard time working from home and being heard. Indie developers in particular have had a hard time, trying to satisfy the Community with new innovative games, in order to play during this crisis. The Million Pixels Event is looking for the winners of the Indie Industry 2020, in selected categories. But since we can give something back a to make the community a little better, unfortunately some are left behind, so the Event is influenced by a charity aspect. We collect donations during the entire Stream for EveryoneCan. This organization made it possible for everyone to experience the facets of gaming. Be it through mental, motoric or simply financial handicaps. Because of the Lockdown, those people couldn’t attend the Center to play. Meanwhile the organization is in financial difficulties and needs donors. Here we want to step in and help. Anyone who makes a donation of less than one Euro has the chance to win a lot of prizes. Every euro works as a ticket for the Raffle. The Event will take place in December. Every Indie who wins a category, gets a Price, nothing Special, but we will do our best to honor you work. We really would like to give you a big Prize Money, but as we are also somekind of Indie Magazine, we can’t, sadly. The Goal of the Event is, to honor the hard working Indie Devs, help the People in need and gather the Gaming Community together.
